Bumpy Goanna Pty Ltd is more than just a brand; it is a legacy brought to life. We are a 100% Aboriginal-owned and operated family business, founded by a mother and four children with a deep respect for their heritage and the healing power of Country.

🏡 Rooted in Traditional Knowledge

Our journey began not in a modern laboratory, but by the kitchen table. It was there that we shared cherished memories of the mother’s father and the sons' grandfather. He was a keeper of wisdom, who used his traditional Aboriginal knowledge of Australian plants—such as the Eurabah Bush (Myoporum Montanum also known as Western Boobiala Bush). We recalled how he would brew a cold tea and use it extensively for skin care adding it to his bath and apply it to his skin, leveraging its natural anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial qualities. We were inspired and explored the incredible benefits that Aboriginal people traditionally used. This, was the seed that grew into Bumpy Goanna.
